Qantas/American Express co-brand corporate card adds to cost reduction:

We have just added one more tactic to our cost reduction recommendations - the Qantas/American Express co branded corporate card. By now, ,many of you will be aware of this card and the potential savings attached to it.

Basically if you spend $20,000 on Qantas travel per year you are entitled to a 2% discount off your Qantas domestic airfares - across all classes. This is in addition to the discounts already in place against the full economy domestic fares.

Given the American Express Corporate card already provides benefits of up to 60 days credit and membership reward points, this is a very smart way to pay for travel.

Plus... Did you know this additional discount is not available when booking direct with Qantas, sop that's another reason to use Travelogic for all your business and leisure travel needs.

Please call on +612 9230 7500 or e-mail travelogic@travelogic.com.au for more information.

Passport Update
This is to inform you of a change to the passport issuing procedures that will have some impact on the travelling public.

Current concerns about terrorism and identity fraud underscore the need to ensure that Australian passports are issued only to those entitled to them. Like terrorism, identity fraud is a worldwide problem. In Australia it costs the community an estimated $4 billion annually.

Against this backdrop, on 4 July Mr Downer announced new measures to enhance the security of our passport issuing system. A copy of the press release can be obtained from www.foreignminister.gov.au. More...
