As we
approach the end of another financial year, and ponder the
previous 12 months, it has been interesting to note just how much
the world has changed for the "Business Traveller".
Clearly the level of business confidence has increased significantly
over the last 12 months, as reflected by the desire for businesses
to travel. The only difference from previous "up cycles"
is the role security now plays, from significantly more thorough and
prominent security screening to constant travel alerts.
Businesses,
their travellers and employers need to be adaptable to these
ever changing conditions. As your travel partner, it is essential
for Travelogic to be proactively and efficiently best advising
you on any relevant travel security issues.
We look
forward to an even better year (2004/2005), wishing you all a prosperous
and safe year of growth and development
Regards
Craig
Smith, Managing Director |

A combination of resurgent
air travel and decreases in the number of federal security
screeners could soon mean longer waits at airport checkpoints.
Airlines are predicting that
air travel will reach pre-9/11 levels this summer. But
Congress has ordered the federal Transportation
Security Administration (TSA) to cut 4,500 screener jobs this year, on top
of trimming 5,400 such jobs last year. More...

Llanwrtyd Wells - the wackiest town in Great
Britain?
Llanwrtyd
Wells, with a population of just 604 (2001 census) is a unique
town in the heart of the countryside in mid Wales. With clean air,
low light pollution, a river bursting with salmon, and surrounded
by forests, mountains and hidden valleys, Llanwrtyd Wells is a
town worth escaping to for the scenery alone. However, venture
deeper and you’ll hear tales of ‘horse skulls on sticks’,
‘bog snorkelling’ and ‘man v horse marathon’ and you’ll
discover there’s more here than at first meets the eye ... More...

Good feedback
for Australian Airlines
I just want to say that I flew on
Australian Airlines last week to and from Kota Kinabalu from
Sydney and was extremely impressed with check-in and all aspects
of the flight and the crew especially.
The check in at both ends went
seamlessly with no queues but that was just lucky I guess. The
planes were immaculate and my daughter and I both stretched out on
both sectors and had 3 seats each.
The food was average but I am not
a fan of airplane food and slept through the meal on the way home,
but my daughter enjoyed the food and especially the muffin just
before landing in Sydney instead of runny eggs and smelly
sausages.
The crew looked smart and well
groomed in their orange shirts and went out of their way to look
after us.
I am a huge fan of Qantas
internationally and can now say that I can recommend AO also to
any of my economy class clients.
Regards
Louise

Anna Rorke: Travel Journal Koh
Samui
Having just spent a week in
Koh Samui, I thought it
would be a great idea to share my thoughts with you.
Bangkok Airways fly from Bangkok to Koh Samui on a
regular, daily basis and are a great little airline. They fly mainly
domestic routes within Thailand and some International intra-Asia routes. A
great way to see a few places is to purchase an air pass which makes the
flights very economical. More... |

Rebecca Kolc
I am a Sydney girl born and bred and just
love living in the most beautiful city in the world.
As well as learning from my travels, I have
advanced my knowledge by completing my Certificate III in
